What is Cari?
Cari is a voice-first AI companion that listens, sees, and understands your world. You talk to it out loud, it remembers what matters across every conversation, and it acts on your behalf using built-in tools. Cari is represented by a living particle body and is made by Cari Finance, Inc.
How does Cari's memory work?
Cari builds a connected memory graph rather than a flat chat log — people, projects, and goals become linked points, and each conversation reinforces what matters and adds what's new. It searches that memory semantically, by meaning rather than keywords, so it can surface something you mentioned weeks ago even if you used completely different words. Intent persists over time: if you mentioned wanting to write a book in passing, Cari can connect that thread months later.
What platforms does it run on?
Cari runs natively on macOS, Windows, and Linux, and in any web browser with no install required. Native iOS and Android apps are coming once Cari lands in the App Store and Google Play. Your memory, tools, and conversation history follow you across every platform.
How much does Cari cost?
Cari starts at $19.99/month and includes unlimited conversations, persistent memory across every session, calendar and reminders integration, and built-in tools. A Living Labs plan at $49.99/month adds all integrations, meeting transcription, on-device inference, desktop screen reading, and early access to every new feature. Every plan starts with a three-day free trial, and no card is required to start.
Is my data private?
Cari does not use your conversations or memory to train AI models, does not sell your data, and does not share it with advertisers. When cross-device sync is on, your conversation history and memory graph are stored encrypted on Cari's servers so they follow you across devices; when sync is off, everything stays on your device. Data in transit is encrypted with TLS and data at rest uses customer-managed encryption keys. You can export or delete all of your data at any time from your account page.
What can Cari do?
Ask Cari to do something and it does it — search the web, draft and open an email, generate documents and briefs, check the weather, analyze a photo or file, pull a YouTube transcript, look up stocks, and more, all from your voice with the context it already has about you. It also connects to the apps you already use, including Gmail, Microsoft 365, Notion, Slack, Linear, GitHub, Todoist, Spotify, and Strava. On desktop it can capture meeting notes from your microphone and system audio and read what's on your screen.
